Update from FCC regarding the Order Adopted May 24, 2010

In the Matter of Applications for Consent to the Transfer of Control of Licenses

XM Satellite Radio Holdings, Inc. Transferor

To

Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. Transferee the

FCC in its wisdom has for the sixth time extended the time to implement their voluntary commitment to enter into long-term leases or other agreements to provide a Qualified Entity or Entities rights to four percent of the full-time audio channels on the Sirius and XM platforms (leasing Condition).

SO WHAT DOES IT ALL MEANS? Well it a waiting game. Until the issues that the FCC claims to be of issue have been resolved this game of chess will continue.

America Independent Radio is focused on bringing new ideas and different points of views from the underserved markets to the American public via satellite radio and mobile. I believe that these 24 channels should be given to AIR to ensure the voices of the underserved market is heard and those voices are apart of the digital marketplace where different generations of people are sharing ideas, concepts and developing coalitions to build a better world.
